Throughout 2007, many prominent features and tools have been added to the MedTRACK database continuing to make it the Gold Standard within the biotech industry.
Earlier in the year, the Geography tool was added to the Deals and Alliances database giving the subscribers the ability to search for a deal within a particular area.
MedTRACK's Disease Hub also added Achieved and Expired Milestones to the Milestone Calendar. A Smart Bar was added to help subscribers find what they are looking for
in an even easier and more efficient fashion. Subscribers were also given the ability to have News Alerts on a particular company be sent directly into their email accounts.
Over the summer, Sales Forecasting was added to the Product Sales Tab, providing Product Revenue with historical and up to date financial information as well as Forecast
information. A Mode of Action Tool was also added to help subscribers identify the biochemical physiological mechanism(s) by which a drug produces a response in living
organisms. Chemical and Biological Classification was also added to help subscribers search by the molecular classification of a product and can view the products in the
pipeline view, financial view, product view, or even a combination. MedTRACK also began offering information on the biological activities of small molecules by linking
subscribers directly to the Pubchem ID website.
Finishing up the year, MedTRACK's Venture Finance Hub added IPO Valuations, recording round by round financing information from company reported filings such as S-1,
S-1/A, and 10-K. Subscribers were also given the ability to obtain the most recent updates on any particular company as well as a "Price to News Guide."
